This week, our Comms Crew has been actively growing our culture, curating beautiful work, and sharing our stories. Here is a concise look at what the team has achieved across the Trust to ensure our students and staff are supported and celebrated.

Growing Our Adult Crew and Partnerships

To ensure our staff are fully prepared to empower our students, Julie finalised the logistics for our upcoming Jeff Tech High visit to Barcelona and began planning a staff celebration evening alongside clerking Admission Appeals. Ricky and Chris also collaborated on Jeff Tech High planning to secure this vital professional learning experience for our educators. Out in the community, Geoff met with a local housing developer to cultivate a new school partnership, captured the energy of Plover’s Harvest Festival, and edited a video celebrating Staff Crew at Norton.

Curating Beautiful Work

Our learning environments must reflect our absolute commitment to Craftsmanship and Quality. Chris led a vast physical curation effort, designing the NIS Blue Planet display for The Deep, Plover’s outdoor play boards, and Carcroft’s ‘Community’ designs, while working with Ricky to refresh XP displays with the new Spanish ‘Se Busca’ curation. Grace finished her elements of the Toby’s Law display and put up art boards in XPD alongside Chris. Chris also prepared the staff induction Jorvik Codex booklet product to go to print.

Sharing Stories of Impact

Geoff visited XP Gateshead with Andy to collaborate on new front-page videos created by the students, and finished editing powerful highlight films capturing the profound experiences of Outward Bound and Passage Presentations. To secure and promote our legacy, Ricky drove the Trust Archive project forward and designed promotional posters for the 10-Year Book, while Grace packed and posted the first batch of the books directly to our valued community partners.
