Beautiful Work This Week
More wonderful visitors at XP!
“Three of my colleagues attended today and they have said it has been an absolutely inspiring day – thank you so much” This was an email sent by a colleague of 6 visitors to XP East, from Cantonian School in Wales, last week. They have asked if more colleagues from their school can visit in the coming months.
We also had 18 visitors from Hong Kong at XPE this week. They were blown away by what they saw and experienced. Students showed their portfolios and talked with expertise and authenticity about their learning. Staff ran superb sessions too on Expeditions and Crew. Massive thanks to Julie Morrell for expert organising, Mel Hewitt for sublime hosting and Claira Salter, Abbie Blackham and Laura Parsons for delivering high quality sessions. Days like this highlight the importance and international significance of the work we all do, everyday, across the Trust.
The Scottish Play – XP and XP Gateshead
This week, C28 and G28 answered their guiding question ‘What is Power’ with two awesome Presentations of Learning – including inspiring performances of Macbeth!
