At our recent Annual General Meeting for Members of our Trust we honoured the work and support of Liam Scully, a former founding Director of XP Trust. The Board unanimously elected Liam as an Honorary Member of the Trust in recognition of his service to XP. Liam was part of the XP story from the very beginning and we worked with him to secure temporary accommodation at the formerly named Keepmoat Stadium for our first cohort of students back in 2014. When we moved into our permanent home on Stadium Way, the refurbished area in the Keepmoat was then utilised by Club Doncaster students. A real legacy project. He has been a fervent supporter and has worked tirelessly to support our work ever since. Liam, after working at Doncaster Rovers Football Club, became the Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln City FC and, more recently, the Chair of the English Football League Trust. Liam’s values have always aligned with ours as he has instilled a deep commitment to building community and extending opportunity in his work.
We are proud to make him an Honorary Member of our Trust but we are more proud to consider him a friend.
Congratulations Liam and thank you.
