Wates has delivered over 40,000 school and college places in the last three years, making a real difference for teachers and learners in the education sector as well as the communities in which they operate.
Since 2008, Wates Giving has invested over £8m in local initiatives through five themes: Education; Employment and Training; Social Enterprise; Sustainability; and Community Building. Wates Giving also seeks to develop thinking and debate around major social and economic issues through its annual Thought Leadership research project.
